Legal & Responsible Sourcing
Every piece of Snakewood we supply is sourced through trusted suppliers who comply with applicable forestry laws and international trade regulations.
We do not support illegal logging or irresponsible harvesting practices. Every shipment imported into the United States is accompanied by the required Lacey Act declaration, providing information such as the botanical species, country of harvest, and other details required by U.S. law. This process helps promote transparency and supports the fight against illegal timber trade.
Sustainable Forestry
Our suppliers follow responsible harvesting practices designed to protect the long term health of the forest. Rather than clearing large areas, trees are carefully selected while preserving the surrounding ecosystem and encouraging natural forest regeneration.
Whenever possible, our suppliers also recover Snakewood from naturally fallen trees. By making use of material that would otherwise remain in the forest, valuable resources can be recovered while reducing the need to harvest additional living trees.
Reforestation & Community Support
Protecting forests requires more than responsible harvesting.
That’s why Snakewood Supply supports organizations dedicated to reforestation through tree planting initiatives and forest restoration projects. We also support initiatives that encourage responsible forest stewardship and sustainable land management within local communities.
