Snakewood Grading Guide

At Snakewood, every piece of wood is carefully selected and sorted by hand.
Our grading system helps you understand the quality, appearance, and character of each piece.
We primarily evaluate figure (the natural pattern of the wood), followed by
overall appearance and usable quality after cutting and preparation.
We also take into account defects such as cracks, pinholes, and other natural imperfections.
